Most common signs of appendicitis

In people with appendicitis, an abscess usually takes the form of a swollen mass filled with fluid and bacteria. The most common signs of appendicitis are abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nauseaand vomiting, fever, and abdominal tenderness. Without treatment, an inflamed appendix can rupture, causing infection of the peritoneal cavity (the lining around the abdominal organs) and even death.
As the swelling in the appendix increases, the pain tends to move into your right lower abdomen. It focuses right above the appendix at a place called McBurney’s point. The best treatment for appendicitis is surgery to remove the appendix (appendectomy) before the appendix ruptures. Appendicitis has been labeled as a very difficult to diagnose internal disorder. Pressing on the appendix area, coughing or walking, may all make the pain worse.
